Been used for carrying motorcycles before it had the soft top, also done some long distance travels, so a very reliable drive. Recently I have fitted a new starter motor, so it always start on the button, if not there is alway the starter handle, which I have used when the starter motor broke and it's really easy to use. The chassis is in great condition, some surface rust, but no rotting. The rear tub is in great shape (with loads of tie down points for carrying) and there is also a spare wheel.

There is a tow hook with electrical hook up, so it would be suitable for towing (I've towed a jumbo transit van with ease). Since I have owned the 2A, these are some of the things that I have done. Fitted new master cylinder (brake and clutch).

New copper unions to master cylinder. New Exmoor Trim soft top.

Some new, some refurbished front seats. Tray under middle seat for misc spares. Some items that will need addressing (non urgent). Body work: the previous owner hand painted with a brush, which is not great, but I have lightly sanded this down and for everyday use is perfectly fine - there are also area where the previous owner has used body filler, which is starting to crack. The rear cross member needs looking at (easily available).

Some small rust on the bulk head, but generally in decent condition. Front radiator muff (for cold days). Not included in the sale but available at a cost if needed.
