Hello this is Queenie, my wife's series 2a station wagon Land Rover. But modernised with a 300tdi I'm told 27000 miles but no proof. Discovery differentials, Series 3 gear box, freewheeling hubs, Power steering and upgraded headlights.. I have the original engine and diffs if you want a classic and I wouldn't I blame you, but this is far more practical, but it is not a modern drive. Then another couple of weeks in a specialist classic land rover garage getting everything safe for my wife and our three little children. Bits to finish are Brakes need bleeding mechanic said they were OK but do need bleeding in my opinion. Front doors could do with aligning properly. Temp and speedo gauge have just stopped, Chassis is patched but solid she's an old bus.
Has 55000 on the clock but means very little at this age, 4xwheel drive won't engage recently think it's the pin that holds the gear down, I'll probably have most of these fixed soon after posting but not guaranteed. 4x 3 point harness 2x lap belts And the station wagon is exempt from the congestion charge because its classed as a bus. You may need to do some research to confirm this. Paint job is very good but not concourse better than 95% of landys on the road I'd say, Been rebuilt and garage stored in the past 2 years.
I have some sound proofing for the floor that needs cutting to shape(included) Can Carry 12 grown menhave seats and brackets for the boot if wanted. She's a genuine head turner stopped by Japanese tourists for photos the other month. Advertised elsewhere so may withdraw at my discretion. Texts are preferable as I'm usually putting one child or another to bed I don't check emails very often sorry.
