I bought this Land Rover about a year ago after searching for a good vehicle for a very long time. This vehicle has had a chassis up restoration with a photographic record and a huge receipt file to prove it.

This land Rover is seriously good, drives very well, brakes are good, engine is excellent, transmission is quiet and smooth, tyres are good and the chassis needs no work and won't for a very long time. This is a Land Rover to keep. The chap who restored it was a Land Rover enthusiast. His intention was to keep it and off road it I think...

But he acquired a Series One so he decided to sell this. I bought genuine Land Rover steel wheels and tyres, new front original bumper. Installed a demist/heater system that works. It has a roll-bar as it makes it a very safe land Rover. It is registered correctly as Historic.

He adjusted the brakes, topped up the diff oils, replaced two front wheel bearings. He was really impressed with the work done. This Landy has a discovery 200 TDI engine that was rebuilt with receipts to prove. Axles are from a 1979 Series 3...

I'm not sure of the difference but maybe you know. Discovery radiator and intercooler and the power steering pump is present with reservoir if you want to convert.

New brakes and brake pipes, servo brakes. The rear of the tub has been modified so you have more cab room. The covers are torn but these can be replaced cheaply if it bothers you.

As the pictures show the chassis was stripped and repaired really well where necessary. Lovely plating to an amazing standard. I've tried to show this.

There is no rust anywhere. The bulkhead is really good.. Not your usual rusty piece of scrap. The only thing I was going to do was to remove the straight thru exhaust as it's noisy and rattly.

The Steve Parker downpipe is fitted and I was going to mate this to a defender 200TDI exhaust and modify accordingly... Well, not me but my mechanic! The speedo cable needs installing which I have.

I also have a set of sticks as I was going to put a soft top on it for the summer. I think my price is cheap... So someone is going to get a bargain...

But please don't mess me around. I won't be happy. I can give you the details and you can arrange this separately.
